Farnesina Digital Art Experience
Multi-screen and Multi-channel AV show
The Bright Festival is glad to present the world premiere of "Farnesina Digital Art Experience”.
This innovative project is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by the Italian Cultural Institutes. Its aim is to present and promote Italian digital art to the world.
Coordinated and designed by Stefano Fake (Florence) the "Farnesina Digital Art Experience" will start its world tour in Leipzig.
The multimedia exhibition, which will travel to many countries until the end of 2022, to brings the work of fourteen of the best Italian digital studios closer to the international public.
The artists worked together to realize the first immersive art opera collectively created: a 360-degree audio-visual show designed to immerse the visitors in virtual settings and unseen multisensory experiences.
The selected studios were already involved in an impressive mapping project that took place in December 2019 in Rome. Thousands of people were intrigued by the video mapping on the façade of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - known in Italy as the “Farnesina”. In the Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig, we will show a micro-monumental mapping version on a spatial model of Farnesina. The same artists have also produced a new immersive indoor show for Leipzig which lasts 45 minutes. They are Antaless Visual Design, Antica Proietteria, Apparati Epimeri, FLxER, Kanaka Studio, Luca Agnani Studio, Michele Pusceddu, Monogrid, Mou Factory, Olo Creative Farm, OOOPStudio, Pixel Shapes, The Fake Factory and WöA Creative Company.
